It is possible to verify or Check ESTA status. There are several reasons for checking your travel authorization for the US. We have outlined several reasons to you should verify and check ESTA status on this page. You may want to know the expiration date or retrieve your authorization number before your next trip to the United States. If your ESTA USA or passport has expired, you are required to reapply before entering the USA.

If you check ESTA status and it has expired, but you wish to visit the United States using the Visa Waiver Program (VWP), you are required to reapply for ESTA. It is not possible extend your travel authorization. Travel authorizations for visits to the USA are valid for 2 years. If you apply for a new ESTA while your previous authorization is active, it will automatically be replaced with your new authorization.
